CFT Wins $14M VA Logistics Redesign Contract

FAIRFAX, VA. CFT was awarded a 5-year contract to provide the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) with program management support services. Under this award, CFT will collaborate closely with the VA Logistics Redesign (VALOR) Program Integration Directorate (PID) to reduce variability, coordinate across offices, develop governance rigor, promote transparency, and improve system and process traceability as their staff manage the implementation and deployment of supply chain solutions.

This project, awarded through the General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside, aims to implement strategic, cohesive, disciplined, comprehensive, and flexible program and project management processes for the programs and projects within the VALOR Program Management Office (PMO). Activities include monitoring project metrics, rigorous risk management, and prompt reporting on Government- approved cost, schedule, and performance. In addition, CFT will support the implementation of tailored Agile governance processes within the VALOR PMO and collect metrics for continuous process improvement.

“The VALOR PMO must be able to quickly identify, manage, and respond to risks and issues, which require sound, flexible governance processes that empower decision-making and facilitate task execution in a standardized and repeatable manner,” said Executive Vice President Sean Kelly. “We’re very excited to give VALOR staff the processes and tools they need to support supply chain management solutions and improve medical facility operations and Veteran care nationwide.”
